How to Use Disc ID

Select single or batch scan mode
Use the standard single lookup to search one CD, or toggle 'Batch Mode' to unlock the high-throughput workspace. Batch Mode allows queuing up to 15 items sequentially.

Scan BMG barcodes or catalog numbers
Scan the barcode via your camera, type the catalog number manually, or paste a list of codes. The Bulk Import text box automatically formats spaces, hyphens, and D-prefixes on paste or blur.
Pro Tip: Bluetooth barcode scanners are fully supported. They will automatically submit catalog numbers and refocus the entry box on scan for continuous, rapid scanning.

Resolve UPCs and ASINs
The lookup engine automatically searches Discogs and MusicBrainz to match BMG releases with rate-limit back-off and retries for stability.

Copy codes to clipboard
Click the Copy icon next to the main UPC or individual alternate UPCs/ASINs to copy them. In Batch Mode, click 'Copy UPCs' to copy the entire list of resolved UPCs.

Save or import your results
Click 'Save to List' to add identified albums to your Accept List, or click 'Add to Tracker' to import items directly into your inventory.
